Leta Gramlich enters her first season as the head coach of
the Pioneers. Prior to coaching at
Malone, Leta was the head womens coach at Geneva College (PA) from
2005-2007. During her two years there
the team finished in the middle of the conference and grew in size. She also helped the team transition from the
National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. More recently
Gramlich taught middle school math at Canton Country Day School in Canton,
Ohio. Preceding her position at Geneva,
Gramlich spent one year teaching high school math at Cuyahoga Falls High School.
Gramlich played center midfield for the Malone Pioneers from 2000-2003. She was a four-year starter and two-year captain. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Malone in 2004 with a BA in Mathematics. Leta was part of a team that posted an impressive 66-19-7 overall record and a 32-5-4 conference record during her four years. She also lifted her teams to a pair of conference titles (01, 02), one NAIA Region championship (03), the programs first ever appearance in the NAIA National Tournament (03) and an NCCAA national championship (02). Gramlich earned numerous postseason honors including NAIA All-America Honorable Mention (03), NCCAA All-American (02, 03), NSCAA All-American (03), OCSA Player of the year (03), NAIA Region IX First Team (02, 03) and All AMC South Team (02, 03). She was also a two-time All-America Scholar Athlete for both the NAIA and the NCCAA. She earned her Level D Coaching License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) in 2005. Jessica Zettler enters her
first season as the assistant coach for the Pioneers. Prior to coaching
at Malone, Jessica was a talented defender and played on the first and only
Malone team to qualify to the NAIA National Tournament. After graduation
in December of 2007, Jessica was a long-term substitute at North Canton Middle
school and now is an ISGI for the sixth grade at North Canton Middle school.
Jessica played defense for
the Malone Pioneers from 2003-2006 and was a four-year starter. She
graduated from Malone in 2007 with a BA in Integrated Language Arts. Jess
was part of a team that posted a 55-22-11 overall record and an 18-7-5
conference record during her four years. She helped her teams to a pair
of NAIA Regional Final Four appearances (04, 06), one NCCAA Regional
Championship with a 4th place finish in the NCCAA National
Tournament (05), one NAIA Regional championship (03), and the programs first
ever appearance in the NAIA National Tournament (03).
