Financial Aid

If you wish to apply for a federal student loan, there are three basic items to complete and submit to begin the process. We ask that you complete these steps at least four weeks prior to the start of your trimester of enrollment. We have provided links to the necessary items in steps one through three.

  1. Malone Financial Aid Application.   For your convenience, a Malone Financial Aid Checklist
  2. Documentation of employer tuition reimbursement if available
  3. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using the internet (www.fafsa.ed.gov). Our Title IV (federal) school code is 003072.

    If you have filed a FAFSA previously, you can utilize your PIN (personal identification number) to access renewal data online. The PIN number can be obtained on-line at http://www.pin.ed.gov/.

To complete the process for borrowing Federal Stafford loans go to www.malone.edu/loancounseling and choose Entrance Counseling and MPN Application.  This is a federal requirement for students borrowing for the first time at Malone College.  While you may have completed this at the previous school, regulations require it again as a new borrower at a different school.
