Bachelor of Science in Education: Spanish

Multi-Age Licensure Program (PreK-12)

The College offers a program leading to the Ohio Provisional Multi-Age License valid for teaching learners, pre-kindergarten through grade twelve, in Spanish. Those choosing this major will complete coursework from three areas.

Requirements for the Spanish Education (PreK-12) licensure area are also detailed in a program guide available in the Education Department.

Students pursuing the Spanish Education major must maintani a minimum 2.75 major and cumulative GPA to progress though the teacher licensure program and to register fro education courses at the 300 level or above.  Praxis I basic skills tests should be taken during or immediately upon completion of EDUC 112 with a minimum score of 175.  See details of assessment requirements and criteria for teacher licensure programs on page 120 of the Undergraduate Catalog (Office of the Registrar).
