NURSING POSITIONS 
  
Position:                       Two tenure track faculty positions (one pending)—instructor or assistant professor rank
                                   
Starting Date:               January or August, 2009

Responsibilities 
Teach in baccalaureate program including clinical and didactic courses 
Academic advising with students. 
Serve on program, school, and institutional committees. 
Engage in scholarship, community service, and professional practice. 
 
Qualifications (required)
RN licensure in Ohio (or license eligible).
Two years (minimum) of professional practice.
Specialty background in at least one of the following areas: psychiatric mental health; critical care;
maternity/women’s health; adult health.
MSN from accredited program.
Strong commitment to teaching excellence, community engagement, and scholarly research.
Christian faith commitment consistent with Malone's mission.
 
School Information 
The School of Nursing provides a four-year baccalaureate program, a BSN completion program for RN’s, and a MSN program with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track and a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Adult track.  The School of Nursing undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).  Total student enrollment is around 400.
 
Malone College  
Malone College is a Christian College for the Arts, Sciences, and Professions, affiliated with the Evangelical Friends Church-Eastern Region. The College has enjoyed significant growth in student enrollments, programs, physical facilities and financial position in the last two decades.  Total enrollment is approximately 2300 students, with 1450 full-time undergraduates as well as adult degree-completion programs and graduate programs.
