Hilliard Darby’s Megan Lane To Play Softball For MaloneMegan Lane, of Hilliard and a 2008 graduate of Hilliard Darby High School, has recently signed a national letter of intent to attend Malone College in the fall and play softball for the Pioneers. The 5’5” shortstop was a captain for the Panthers as well as a four-year letter winner in softball. Lane was twice selected to the All-Ohio Underclassmen Team as well as being honored as the ‘Panther’ (Coaches) award.
Academically, Lane was a part of the Honor Roll all four years in high school. She was also a four-year Scholar Athlete. Lane intends to major in Education (as well as to minor in English and Communications) at Malone. She is the daughter of Scott and Ann Lane of 2429 Walborn Dr., Hilliard. Lane has had experience in coaching as well as helping teach physically disabled children. She hopes to be able to use her education degree in order to teach other students how to become effective leaders.  Scott Lane (father), Megan Lane, Ann Lane (mother)
