Bluffton’s Levi Fredritz and Edison’s Ercel Mullins To Play Soccer at Malone CollegeLevi Fredritz, a 2008 graduate of Bluffton High School, and Ercel Mullins, a 2008 graduate of Edison High School, have recently signed national letters of intent to attend Malone College this fall and play soccer for the Pioneers.
Fredritz, a 5’7” forward, was a two-year letter winner in both soccer and track for the Pirates, being honored as a captain of the soccer team and awarded the team’s offensive MVP for the 2007 season. As a junior, Fredritz lived in China and was on the runner-up soccer team for Qingdao MTI International School in Division III. His team was runner up in the ACAMIS (Association of Chinese and Mongolian International Schools) Tournament in Qingdao, China in 2007. Academically, Fredritz is a member of the Honor Roll and has been awarded an academic letter. He has also had one of his writings published (entitled “Death Emanates Life”). Fredritz is the son of Dan and Karen Fredritz of 10213 Grove Rd., Bluffton, and is planning on majoring in Nursing at Malone. Mullins, a 6’1” striker/midfielder, was a four-year letter winner in soccer for the Wild Cats, collecting numerous awards such as Eastern District First Team, OVAC First Team All-Star and captain of his squad as a senior and Gatorade Rookie of the Year as a freshman. In 2004, his team won the OVAC Division III Championship and the Eastern District Sectional Championship. Mullins is the son of Ercel and Theresa Mullins of 9645 County Rd. 39, Bloomingdale, and is plans on majoring in Computer Science at Malone. |
