Malone Track & Field To Send 27 Athletes To NAIA Outdoor Nationals

The Malone College men’s and women’s track & field teams, led by head coach Charlie Grimes, will send 29 athletes to the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in St. Louis , Missouri May 22-24.  Fifteen men and fourteen women will compete for the Pioneers at the outdoor national event.

Last year, the Pioneer men finished in a tie for 12th place at the NAIA outdoor national meet while the women were 36th.  Six Malone athletes earned All-America honors, four of whom are competing again at this year’s outdoor national meet.  Justin Baum (10,000m), Ryan Kienzle (5000m), Chris Sinick (1500m) and Brady West (decathlon) all earned the distinction at last year’s NAIA outdoor national event.
