FS250Students can acquire up to fifteen hours of college credit based on the educational nature of their work experience as it relates to their field of study. One to three credit hours may be taken in a given semester based on the number of hours the student devotes to their employment during that semester. One credit hour would require 45 hours of on the job work, two credit hours would require 90 hours of on the job work, and three credit hours would require135 hours of on the job work. Only one Cooperative Education experience can be taken in a given semester. Students must take the Cooperative Education Program in the sequence listed below. The course is graded credit / no credit.
Course Course Description
Cooperative education is designed to provide opportunities for students to apply classroom theory and principles in real work settings. Students work a specified number of hours on the job and complete assignments as outlined in each co-op course for academic credit. This course will focus on career exploration helping the student to discover his or her career path that matches with their specific skills, interest, personality and work values. In addition, the student will be encouraged to seek the Lord's guidance through the decision making process bringing honor and glory to Him in their chosen career path.

This course will focus on a wide variety of leadership styles to help you discover your style, learn how to further develop your leadership potential, and how to work effectively with the various styles represented within your place of employment.

This course will focus on developing leadership styles to guide you on your leadership journey by positively influencing others all around you. First by leading yourself, then by influencing those above you, next by influencing those around you, and finally, by influencing those for whom you are responsible.
