Malone College (OH) Head Coach M/W Track & Field 2008-2009 Academic Year. The position is a full-time administrative staff appointment. Responsible to the Director of Athletics for the overall management and leadership of the men’s and women’s intercollegiate track and field program in a distinctively evangelical Christian environment. 1. Develop and maintain a highly competitive intercollegiate men’s and women’s track and field program within the rules and guidelines of Malone College, the American Mideast Conference, National Christian College Athletics Association, and the NAIA. 2. Plan, organize and manage all phases of the men’s and women’s track and field program including: practice and contests, athlete development and recruitment of academically qualified student-athletes. 3. Supervise, manage, and lead assistant coaches and other support staff members in an effective and productive manner. 4. Manage a men’s and women’s track and field budget. 5. Work cooperatively with faculty members, the director of admission and staff, alumni and development personnel, the sports information director, and all student support service and athletic department personnel. 6. Work constructively with an established Cross Country staff. 7. Attend staff development opportunities and coaches meetings. 8. Assist and develop track and field camps and clinics along with other fund raising avenues for the program. Requirements
