Based out of Hollywood, California, “Spats and Cane”
are Ohio natives Joe Hartzler, Adam Sabados, and brothers Seth and Jake Thomas -- all graduates of Malone College and alumni
of the nationally touring “Isaac Improv” improvisational comedy team. The
four have performed professionally at camps and college campuses across most of
the United States, entertaining audiences with their unique brand of
family-friendly sketch and improvisational comedy, along with film
shorts. They have received rave reviews at a variety of venues ranging
from the World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood, CA, to the Alive Festival in
Canal Fulton.
Joe Hartzler and Seth Thomas are
also affiliated with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre -- Los Angeles -- widely recognized as home to today's funniest actors
and writers, and are currently producing promotional videos for the upcoming
David Zucker film, An American Carol.
While students at Malone, the four
participated in MC Comedy, a college improvisational comedy team, and created
the Yellow Light Runners, a popular college sketch comedy team.
You’ll like ’em. They’re
“funny guys in fancy suits.”
