Women's Golf Finishes Second At Phipps Memorial Tourney

The Malone College women’s golf team finished in a tie for second-place, among a three-team field, at the Phipps Memorial Tournament at the Congress Lakes Golf Course in Hartville this past Monday. The Pioneers posted a score of 396 to tie with Mt. Union College for second place as Walsh University won the team title with a score of 370.  

The Malone women  were led by Jen Blocker (Jr., Westerville H.S.), who finished in third place with a score of 91.  Other scorers for Malone included Elena Duncan (Jr., Winona Lake, IN), with a score of 93 (tied for 5th), Alyssa Westfall (So., Ashland H.S.) at 98 (10th), Sarah Ramsey (Jr., Kenton Ridge H.S.), with a score of 114 (15th), and Kahle Bryant (Fr., Westerville North H.S.), at 117 (16th).
