Advising & Testing

Advising & Testing

The Advising and Testing Office serves all new students as they transition from high school or another college into Malone University. Specifically, our purpose is to:

  • Explore various majors and career interests you might have.
  • Examine how your academic strengths fit into those career objectives.
  • Develop an action plan to bring these objectives into reality.
  • Present various testing options that might be available in gaining academic  credit
  • Provide individual services designed to assist you in achieving your academic goals.

Welcome to The Advising and Testing Office
The Advising and Testing Office is open for your convenience, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.  We are located in the lower level of the Centennial Center in CC 102 around the corner from the bookstore. Advising & Testing offers many different services to all Malone students. Our work begins with new students when they come in to schedule their first semester classes. We also work with students when taking CAAP tests, CLEP tests and when special accommodations are needed for testing. Liberal Arts majors will find themselves coming to our office to meet with Gary Phelps as their academic advisor so they can schedule their classes each semester.
