At Malone, there are a wide variety of opportunities in visual arts and music both on and off campus. The arts at Malone are open to those who want to participate to use and develop their talents, and to those who want to build a career by studying the visual arts, music education, or commercial music technology. Academic programs for artists and musicians are selective and demanding, but opportunities to simply enjoy art for art’s sake are abundant and inviting.

Malone College is a community where beauty is celebrated and embraced, whether it is seen, heard, or felt. Student and faculty artists express themselves through traditional media, such as painting and sculpture, and through new media, such as computer graphics. Our musicians interpret the classics and compose new works.

The Department of Fine Arts at Malone College is the home of the visual arts and musical arts. Degree programs include art, art education, music, music education, music ministry, and commercial music technology. There are also opportunities for the major and non-major in piano pedagogy. Performing ensembles are open to all students regardless of major. Instrumental, vocal, and piano scholarships are available to both music majors and non-music majors.
