Accreditations
The Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) has reaffirmed the Malone University’s status as an accredited institution of higher education.
This 10-year accreditation stands until the next reaffirmation appointment in 2022-2023.
“While we anticipated this outcome, it reaffirms and publically validates Malone’s commitment to providing a transformational educational experience for our students,” said David King, president of Malone University. “We are grateful for the expertise of our body of peers at the Higher Learning Commission and thank our reviewers for their evaluation of Malone’s operations because their insight makes us a stronger institution as we move into the Malone of the Future.”
The HLC is a regional accreditation agency that accredits degree-granting colleges and universities located in a 19-state region of the United States. Regional accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for evaluating the quality of an institution holistically, including academic programming, governance, and financial feasibility. Their institutional accreditation considers onsite and online offerings at all degree levels.
Malone University has been accredited by HLC since 1964.
