The mission of the Office of University Relations is to ensure that the Malone Story, institutional mission, and educational goals are communicated (externally and internally) in a manner that represents the best interest of the University and its constituents.
Specifically, we communicate with prospective and current students, donors, the media, and the community through a variety of different formats including web, video, print, social media, and advertising among others.
What we do
Our team of writers, editors, designers, and photographers work hard each day to provide on-campus assistance with web content, print publications, media relations, and video content.
Print Publications
From postcards to viewbooks, brochures to newsletters, the University Relations team writes and designs all print publications that are received by external audiences. In addition, the department serves the campus community-- including Admissions and Advancement-- with design, editing, and publishing of collateral materials.
Photography/Videography Requests
The University Relations team offers professional photography and videography services for capturing and showcasing the essence of our campus and events. From promotional videos to event photography, our skilled team is dedicated to providing high-quality visual content for external audiences and the campus community.
Web Content and Support Services
The webmaster partners with campus clients to develop creative webpages that share important information at Malone to prospective students and other important audiences. We maintain the overall site to assure it is mobile friendly and optimized for search engine results.
Media Relations
University Relations coordinates all media contacts including releases to academic and professional journals, magazines, newspapers, radio, and television. The Director of University Relations serves as University spokesperson, screens media calls, and arranges for interviews with faculty, staff, and students.
