Melody Scott, Vice President for Student Development
Melody Scott is Vice President for Student Development and also serves as a member of the President's Cabinet. Personnel in Residence Life, Student Activities, Spiritual Formation, Health Center, and the Counseling Center report to her.
Scott served as youth director with the Evangelical Friends Church for eight years before returning to Malone where she has served as resident director, associate dean, orientation & special programs interim director, and as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Bible, Theology, and Ministry. She also has performed humanitarian work domestically as well as in the UK, India, Nepal, Hungary, Malawi, and New Zealand.
Scott earned a B.A. degree from Malone University, a master’s degree in intercultural studies from Wheaton College, a master’s degree in theology and religion from Durham University, and a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Malone University.
