Teacher candidates at Malone University are expected to be experts in the content they are teaching.

Candidates' content knowledge is assessed through their cumulative grade point average (GPA) (on a 4.0 scale) and on the scores they earn on the Ohio Assessments for Educators (OAE) content knowledge test for their licensure area.
