The Malone University Jazz Ensemble educates and excites students through the medium of jazz, through performances both on-campus and in the community, as well as the study of improvisation, style, and history. Our traditional big band instrumentation consists of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and rhythm section. The Jazz Ensemble performs diverse and engaging literature across a broad musical spectrum, from classic big band charts to bebop, latin, funk, fusion, rock, modern jazz, and more.
