Ricky's Story
As an undergraduate alumnus of Malone University, Ricky Branham knew he would get a fantastic education in pursuit of his Master of Business Administration degree as well.
“I had such a great experience while completing my Bachelor's Degree at Malone,” said Branham. “I loved how every professor incorporated godly principles throughout their classes. This is why I chose Malone for my master’s. I knew the teaching style would be very similar.”
The motivation Branham had for completing Malone’s MBA program was simple. He wanted to take on leadership roles that he knew would require higher education.
“I knew I was capable of taking on more responsibility,” said Branham. “I was looking for more opportunities of leadership positions where God could use me to reach others in a greater way.”
Branham is the senior pastor of Ripley Chapel, a chaplain and RN at Mercy Willard Hospital, and executive director of the Willard Area Chamber of Commerce. These are just a few of the many roles where Branham serves as a leader to his community and church. The MBA program gave him the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in these roles.
“The MBA at Malone is worth pursing because all the information is relevant and able to be applied immediately,” said Branham . The MBA program will teach you new ways to approach situations and problem solve."
Malone’s MBA program can be completed in three different formats: online, in classroom, or blended. Branham completed his MBA through the online format due to the fact that he is a father of three and working more than full-time.
“The professors did a great job balancing the instructional material through the use of readings, writing, conferencing, and video instruction,” said Branham. “If you want a high quality education that will immediately set you apart, Malone's MBA is the direction to go.”
