Chile
Malone students participating in service learning trip to Santiago, Chile will benefit from an immersion into Chilean culture including time spent serving the Santiago Christian Academy during regular school hours, and engaging with the students' diverse families within their homes in the afternoons and evenings. Historical tours of the cities of Santiago and Valparaiso will educate students about the development of these areas in Chile over time, as well as provide them with knowledge of present-day politics, economics, and culture. Local hikes and tours of the Andes Mountain Range will allow students to explore and learn more about the diverse ecosystems just outside of the city, and to experience the magnificence, splendor and serenity of God's creation!
Trip leaders are Dr. Brandi Noll and Aubrey Noll. This is Dr. Noll’s first Malone Service Learning trip, but she led multiple trips at her previous institution.
