Senior Year

• Retake the SAT, ACT or subject tests if needed. Both have registration deadlines approximately one month before each test. 
• Submit college applications. Most college applications can be submitted after September 1. Take your time when completing them: use proper spelling and grammar, and have an adult look over your work when you are done. Consider applying by Thanksgiving to avoid the saturation of applications colleges experience prior to regular deadlines in January. 
• Solidify your finances. Continue your search for scholarships and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by visiting fafsa.ed.gov after October 1.
