What is Baccalaureate?
Baccalaureate is a farewell service of worship held the night before commencement services for undergraduates and graduate programs in celebration of and thanksgiving for lives dedicated to learning and wisdom.

The service is open to family and friends. No tickets are required for this service.
What to wear?
Academic attire is required for graduates. Tassels are worn on the right side of the cap. Smart business casual dress is recommended under the academic attire and flat shoes are suggested to navigate steps safely. Graduate robes must be fully zipped closed for all processions and services.
Can I photograph or take video during Baccalaureate?
All cameras are allowed. To be courteous of the other guests, please remain in your seat and do not block the viewing of others. The ceremony will be available on Livestream for remote viewing at www.malone.edu/livestream.
Is there seating for people with special needs?
Special needs and wheelchair accessible seating is available in the Worship Center. Please complete the information form online to reserve accessible guest seating. An usher will be able to assist you to your seat before the service. Accessible parking is available on the north side of the Johnson Center.
