I worked in IT for two summers as a student worker. During that time, I got to know staff and faculty around campus and came to enjoy helping them with their needs. When I graduated, a position at the help desk opened up, and I was glad to accept it.
What do you enjoy most about your job responsibilities?
It’s my job to maintain the hardware used by our campus community. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people to help solve the issues they are facing so they can get back to do the work they need to do or to improve their processes.
How do you answer when asked to describe Malone’s brand of education?
Malone’s education is personal. Faculty members are open to meeting with students and working with them if they have questions.
How would you describe Malone students?
Malone students are considerate, kind, and dedicated to accomplish their goals.
How has working at Malone shaped your individual faith journey?
I am often reminded of God’s goodness when working with practically every faculty and staff member on campus in some capacity. He has brought us together from so many different walks of life so that we can raise up students who will go into their respective fields with a heart for the Lord. Whether students realize it or not, they have an impact on us as well. It brings a smile to my face to know that our generation will have people on fire for God.
