College Factual: Malone University in the top 15% for adult learners
Malone University ranks among the top 15% of colleges and universities in the country for academic programs designed for adult learners. College Factual, a New York-based organization that provides in-depth analysis of institutions based on data analytics to help students make informed choices, ranked Malone #167 out of 1164 colleges and universities in the country who serve adult students and #3 among 36 institutions ranked in Ohio. Malone was the only Stark County institution ranked among the 36 listed in Ohio.
College Factual reviewed data related to flexibility of academic program offerings, costs and availability of financial aid, support systems to meet the needs of adult learners who are often working full-time as they pursue their degree, and time to degree completion as measured in graduation rates in determining their factors.
“The ranking is affirmation of something we’ve known for a long time,” said Malone President David King. “Adult learners, those coming back to finish their degree, start a program for the first time, or pursuing a master’s program, have unique needs based on the complexity of their life with balancing work and family obligations. Our programs are offered in a variety of ways including online, hybrid, and in the classroom to meet the needs of each individual student. We work very hard to design our adult programs with these factors in mind.”
