Malone receives most affordable online social work program recognition

Malone University’s online social work program was recently featured by Online U among the most affordable online bachelor's degrees. The 2020 Most Affordable Colleges list features only two schools in Ohio, and Malone is the only liberal arts institution from Ohio to be featured on the list. 

The metrics for this ranking were determined by a return on investment formula to feature accredited programs with the best value. Available degrees, tuition rates, and details about program coursework were collected from the school website and acceptance rates, programmatic accreditation, and profit status were collected from official websites of the accreditation agencies or the National Center for Education Statistics.

“Third-party endorsements are important as they frequently shape the perception of an institution’s value, said David King, president. “Malone has consistently appeared in reputable rankings due to the strength of our academic programs, the reputation of our faculty, and the outcomes that are made possible to our alumni with a Malone degree.”
