Malone University and Jarrett partner for Learn & Earn initiative
Malone University today announced a new partnership with Jarrett, a leading third-party logistics (3PL) company which provides efficient transportation and logistics services that values clients and their community.
Jarrett, also known as Jarrett Logistics Systems, is a privately held, family-owned company with headquarters in Orrville, Ohio. Their vision to be the best logistics company in the industry motivates them to use state-of-the-art technology and premier services to provide exceptional visibility and efficiency for a client’s supply chain operations. Some of Jarrett’s notable services include truckload and LTL freight brokerage, warehouse management and inventory, and fleet maintenance and repair services.
"We’re very excited to partner with Malone,” said Natalie Martorana, two-time Malone graduate and human resources coordinator at Jarrett. “As an alumna, I have found Jarrett's culture to closely align with my experience at Malone and I can't wait to connect these students with great internships and careers at Jarrett."
The Learn & Earn partnership with Jarrett will serve not only as a basis for developing career readiness, but will cultivate a meaningful work experience at an organization in a region where opportunities are robust and diverse. By partnering with businesses like Jarrett through Learn & Earn, Malone students are given opportunities to experience workplaces that align with their interests and reinforce principles taught in their college classroom.
"Malone University is proud to partner with Jarrett, a leader in supply chain solutions, to create meaningful career opportunities for our students,” said Blaise Brankatelli, director of external partnerships at Malone. “This collaboration is made possible through the initiative of an alumna who is thriving at Jarrett and whose leadership is a testimony to the impact of a Malone education. We are confident that future Pioneers will follow in her footsteps, building on the values and excellence they gain at Malone to achieve success at Jarrett and beyond."
While the skills gained as part of the Jarrett Learn & Earn experience most directly apply to students in majors like Business Administration, internship opportunities will be open to students from all Malone programs.
