Health, Wellness, & Safety
Care for the whole student
We care about every aspect of your life: from your physical health and safety, to your emotional and social well-being, to your academic wellness. Because of this, multiple resources are in place to help students be responsible and self-aware citizens.
We recognize that your out-of-class experience is vital to your education, so our staff works to build and maintain a diverse and supportive community to come alongside you and provide essential resources, services, programs, and activities necessary for a successful, fulfilling college experience.
The Malone Police Department provides campus-wide observation and protection through campus safety officers and surveillance on a 24-hour basis, responding to activities that could threaten the safety of students, faculty, staff, and guests.
Directed by a licensed counselor, the Counseling Center offers confidential professional mental health services to enrolled students. Staff address a variety of concerns from homesickness to bipolar disorder, from relationship break-ups to suicidal thoughts or fears.
Staffed by professional doctors, physician assistants, and nurses from Mercy Medical Center, the Student Health Center provides primary care services to all full-time students.
Built in 2004, Malone’s modern Wellness Center meets the physical fitness needs of all students. Personal trainers are available as are group classes. The center is equipped with more than 30 cardiovascular machines and Life Fitness, Hammer Strength, and free weights.
